About us

In order to support, facilitate, and accelerate investment in the province, the Investment Services Center meets the objectives set forth in the law and the Executive Regulation for the Promotion and Support of Foreign Investment, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers No. 2/8 on 4/8/9. The Investment and Economic and Technical Assistance Organization of Iran is set up at the provincial level; it is the location of domestic and foreign investment applicants at the provincial level.
Foreign investors are familiar with the benefits and facilities of the Investment Promotion and Protection Act, as well as the steps involved in obtaining an “Foreign Investment License” by visiting the West Azerbaijan Investment Services Center.
The center also answers questions from investment applicants in areas related to the centrally located executive agencies. External investors can benefit from service-centric guidance and assistance in establishing relationships with other government and private sector agencies relevant to the project.
Organizing Investment Service workflows in such a way that foreign investors gain access to all the necessary information and strategies and do not need repeated referrals to various executive agencies. The responsibility of providing services at the center is not limited to the pre-investment steps only, but investors can refer to and benefit from the West Azerbaijan Investment Services Center.

Services offered by the Investment Services Center to foreign investors as pre-licensed and post-licensed services are as follows:
Before Obtaining Foreign Investment License:

Informing and advising investors on matters relating to the acceptance and support of foreign investment
Maintain necessary coordination and support in obtaining necessary investor permits, including Declaration of Establishment, Environmental License, Water, Electricity, Gas and Telephone Divisions, Exploration and Extraction of Mines etc. Foreign
Maintain the necessary coordination and follow-up with the executive units of the units related to FDI requests
Acceptance of investment applications in the province and follow up on investment matters through the relevant executive agencies
Receive the request of foreign investors along with other documents required and coordinate with the organization in order to issue the investor license.
After getting the investment license:

Maintain proper oversight of foreign investment affairs following the stages of foreign investment licensing, including joint venture registration, ordering machinery and equipment entry, entry and exit issues, customs and tax matters, etc.
Follow-up on actions after issuing foreign investment licenses, including administrative matters and entry of foreign capital
Tracking the administrative problems of investment applicants with other enforcement agencies
Establish coordination between devices to resolve problems and barriers to investing to resolve problems with the governor and use governor support to resolve existing problems
Assigning oversight and management of investment projects to the Directorate General.
